Ask-A-Question and Message Board Disclaimer
The Taxlogic Ask-A-Question and Message Boards are designed to help
taxpayers get answers to general questions about federal taxes "in
plain English". The service is free, but please limit yourself to one
question per person per tax year. Your question will be answered by
an experienced tax professional such as a CPA, tax accountant, and
Enrolled Agent. All Responses are restricted to just members of our
staff. Please note, however, all Ask-A-Question queries and responses
will be posted to our message boards (your last name and e-mail
address will not appear). All responses are public, in order
to allow review by Taxlogic staff and so that other users may also
benefit from the information if they have similar questions.
This service is for individuals seeking help with their own tax
issues. Taxlogic does not answer questions for other individuals
preparing tax returns for compensation. In some cases, the nature of
your question may be more complex than you realize, and the response
will include a suggestion that you discuss the matter further with a
knowledgeable tax professional.
